No Covid-19 Vaccine Required to Travel

The Government of India has relaxed all Covid-19 related travel restrictions for all travelers who are asymptomatic upon arrival. The CDC no longer requires air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight. International airlines, and particularly non-US carriers, have adjusted their Covid test policies similarly. Therefore, we are happy to announce that proof of a Covid-19 vaccine is no longer required to join this tour. You are free to travel.

India Covid-19 Entry Requirements

• Are there COVID-related entry requirements for U.S. Citizens traveling to India? No.
• Is a negative COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) required for entry? No.
• Is proof of Covid-19 vaccination required for entry? No.
• Is proof of any vaccination status required for entry? No.
• Is the self-declaration form on Air Suvidha still required for travel to India: No.
• Are health screening procedures in place at airports and other ports of entry? All travelers will undergo thermal screening upon arrival. Symptomatic travelers will be isolated and re-tested.
• Two percent (2%) of all travelers, regardless of vaccination status, will be selected for testing on arrival. Travelers selected for testing on arrival will be permitted to depart the airport following collection of the test sample and do not have to wait for results. All travelers are required to self-monitor for 14 days after arrival.
• Are symptomatic U.S. citizens required to quarantine? Yes. Any traveler who tests positive upon arrival or while in the country will be required to isolate for eight (8) days.
• Are PCR and/or antigen tests available for U.S. citizens in India? Yes. Tests are available throughout India in both private and government facilities.
