CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of your cancellation

• On February 1, 2027 or earlier: Entire payment will be refunded, less the non-refundable deposit.

• After February 1, 2027: All payments are not refundable and not transferable.

In the event of cancellation by Sevanti Adventures

• In the event of cancellation by Sevanti Adventures, you will be refunded your entire payment

• Please confirm that the retreat has reached minimum capacity before purchasing your airline tickets, if required.

• Finalization/cancellation of retreat may occur up to 30 days prior to retreat.

Release/Responsibility

The participant, by signing this agreement, agrees that the Retreat Organizers, James Bailey, Sevanti Adventures, Sevanti Institute, guest teachers, AyurSoma Group, and their respective representatives, will not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, sickness, delay or irregularity that may be occasioned for any reason, including, but not limited to any defect in a vehicle, the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying a participant, acts of God, terrorism, acts of war, or detention; delays or expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force of nature, civil disturbance, government restrictions or regulations, accidents by aircraft, boat, rowboat, train, bus, motor vehicle of kind, auto-rickshaw or bicycle rickshaw, or in any restaurant, place of visit or accommodation; failure of any means of transportation to arrive or depart as scheduled or changes to transit; missed airline or other transportation connections; or additional expenses resulting from changes in exchange rates, tariffs, or itinerary.

The participant agrees to assume all risks associated with the Retreat and agrees that no liability will attach to the Retreat Organizer and Retreat Center, their employees or agents, or to any member of the trip in respect of death, personal injury, illness or delay of the passenger, or for any loss of or damage to the property (including luggage) of the participant during the course of the Retreat, howsoever caused. By signing this Participation Agreement, the participant releases the Retreat Organizer as well as the Retreat Center and their representatives from any such responsibility or liability, except as herein above set forth. The liability of common carriers is generally limited and, therefore, it is suggested that participants purchase their own cancellation, property damage (including luggage), and accident insurance. For the benefit of everyone on your trip, the Retreat Organizer reserves the right to accept or reject any trip participant at any time without liability, and in the event it determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the Retreat, it may without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever, expel such participant from the Retreat. The Retreat Organizer will have no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the Retreat prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant that is not included on the Retreat Itinerary.

Non-Compete

Participants (guests and assistants) agree that they will not create a competing group India tour business that copies the business plan and itinerary, or similar itinerary, of the Sevanti Adventures Journey to India Retreat. Participants may return to locations on the itinerary as not-for-profit individual tourists on vacation, but they may not create their own for-profit group tour business and recreate the same or similar itinerary. Sevanti Adventures does have a partnership program that will support new India tour organizers to create a unique tour of their own. If a guest or assistant wants to create a tour business to India, they have the option to partner with Sevanti Adventures as a collaboration. See the Tour Partnership Plan for details.

Yoga, Treatments, and Other Activities Waiver

I agree that I am solely responsible for my own health and safety at all times during the Journey to India Retreat with James Bailey and Sevanti Adventures. Neither the facilitators nor James Bailey, Sevanti Adventures, Sevanti Institute, AyurSoma Group, their employees, nor any of James Bailey’s guest teachers or assistants, shall be held liable for any injury related to this Retreat. I agree to assume all risks associated with the program in any and all ways. Furthermore, I also agree to inform the appropriate person(s) of any movements, activities that I feel may injure me and I will not perform any activity or movement, or engage in any treatment which I feel is likely to cause me to injure myself. I will inform the teachers, therapists, practitioners and/or assistants of any limitations or medical conditions that may affect my practice. I agree to treat my body with patience, compassion, and respect during my practice.

I understand I can stop and rest anytime. My signature indicates that I release James Bailey, his assistants, Sevanti Adventures, guest teachers, AyrSoma, Somatheeram Group, and their employees, from all liability for any injuries sustained as a result of my participation.

Conduct

It is Sevanti Adventures’ responsibility to ensure that all participants have a safe and positive travel experience. Guests are expected to behave in an orderly and socially acceptable manner during the event. Sevanti Adventures and its organizers reserve the right to remove any guest from the event if they behave in a manner unreasonable or disruptive towards the well being of other guests, Sevanti Adventures staff, the staff of our partner venues, or any person related or unrelated to the implementation of the event.

JOURNEY TO INDIA PACKAGE

Tour Includes:

• 6 days, 5 nights at AyurSoma Ayurveda Royal Retreat

• Lodging: single or double occupancy in a Palace Deluxe room, with ocean view + AC

• Meals: 3 vegetarian, Ayurvedic, south Indian cuisine meals daily

• Daily yoga and meditation sessions with guest teachers

• Lectures on Ayurveda, Indian and Kerala culture, Hinduism, yoga and yoga philosophy

• Ayurvedic consultations and treatments (additional treatments at participant’s expense, arranged directly with resort)

• Half day tour of the Kerala Backwaters by boat

• Special Sunset Ganesh Puja at Shiva Temple: throw and crack coconuts for removal of inner and outer obstacles

• Half day tour to Attukal Kali Temple in Trivandrum to make offerings to Goddess Kali Ma

• Evening entertainment: classical Indian music and dance over looking the Arabian Sea

• Complimentary transfer to/from Trivandrum International Airport and AyurSoma Ayurveda Royal Retreat

• 7 days tour of South India from Trivandrum to Chennai.

• Guided tour of heritage sites.

• 4.5 to 5 star accommodations

• Entrance tickets to any sites that requires ticketed admissions

• Daily breakfast buffet (lunch and dinner not included)

• Free WiFi in hotel rooms

• International airfare not included

Lodging:

Double and single accommodations are available. If you are traveling with a friend or partner, we will assign you together as roommates. In the event you are traveling alone, best efforts will be made to find a compatible roommate of similar age, gender, and geographic origin.

Retreat cost does not include:

Roundtrip airfare to/from India, additional Ayurvedic treatments beyond those included in retreat package, tips, alcoholic beverages, any food or drink not included in package, passports or visas, any items of a personal nature or any other expenses other than those expressly described in the brochure and above, lunch and dinners on Post Retreat Tour, overweight baggage charges, hotel and travel incidentals, shopping, etc
